I believe the two examples you’ve posted are identical to the non-contemporaneous strikes provided me in 1981 by a former District officer who was stationed in Papua New Guinea post WWII. He supplied me with multiple strikes of the Woodlarks B.N.G. and Baniara P-N.G. seals in sealing wax I supplied him.

Note the “P-N.G.” designation of the Baniara seal – was this supplied to some location post 1952?

You begin the post with a valid question then end with the answer. Bit confusing! …and rhetorical.

The DNG occupying force was the Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force (ANMEF).

I’ve only seen NWPI stamps with the Woodlarks 3 ring radio staion cancel from 1918 and the Kulumadau Papuan date stamp applied to the same stamps during 1918 – 19.

Here’s a similar question I posted 3 days ago that remains unanswered:

Some of the recent members’ posts refer to images but I am unable to see any. Did members neglect to follow the basic upload instructions? …or I am not able to see the entire post?

Sometimes when reviewing my initial post I note the appended/attached images are either corrupted, not all there or some type of text (referring to the uploaded image) has superseded some of them.

Is this a bug in this website or a host problem?
