To keep the promise made by Mark Robinson (Cahirman’s Message) in the last PNG Calling, the Library now includes Michael Ryan’s Papua catalogue. It’s a great summary of much of the available research, his notes on specific stamps and prices based on actual auction results (it doesn’t get more ‘real’ than that!).
An example of one page is attached. However, his information on the history of Papua stamps, official correspondence, printing, etc is also included.
And…the first of the back issues on PNG Calling is also in the Library – the April 1955 edition. This is just an example of what’s planned. The reason for the ongoing delay is simple – I just don’t have enough time to format the files. So, it will see the light of day at some point, I just don’t know when that day will arrive!
