Whilst in Lockdown I came across a page from a collection that stated that one of the most common forged FDCs from New Guinea is the 1935 Jubilee plain brown envelopes with just the 1d & 2d stamps with Rabaul postmarks. Bwagaoia cds (Lee 86) 15 NO38 (odd but standard gap between the ‘3’ and ‘8’. The Zoom meeting yesterday (evening in Oz, early morning east coast N. America, lunchtime UK) was a very pleasant session – good group of members, varied and interesting material on display and lively conversation.
