The official closing date for auction submissions is Dec 31 but I suspect Frank would still take lots for offer for a while yet. An opportunity to some end-of-year clearing out of your excess material and remember that a portion of all sales go back to the society – a win/win for everyone!

It has been drawn to my attention by a knowledgeable and respected auctioneer, that the letters are actually R.M.S. Could it be something to do with the Royal Mail Steamers (Steamships/Ships) ? This is more promising.

There are at least two 1898 Samarai covers addressed to PMS Box No. 127 GPO Brisbane. One is in Alan Grey’s collection and the other is with a respected dealer. I am looking for precise information for the letters PMS with the understanding that it is possibly a (Protestant/Presbyterian/?) The Dec issue of PNG Calling is close to being finished so we’re hoping to have them posted soon, to be received before Christmas (that is, printing and Aust post working to plan!). Email version to be sent soonest.

Due to the limited bidding in the last auction I have now uploaded to the web page a revised listing which shows all items that were sold/unsold. All unsold lots are available on a first come basis at 75% of estimate.
Remember 10% of sales go to the Society.

The AGM is now confirmed – to be held at the Sydney Expo (https://www.sydneystampcoinexpo2019.org.au/). You will see we are booked in for Sat (the 15th) 12:30-1:30.
